Billing Profiles & Workflow Routing

WABPO applies different wallet validation rules depending on whether an account is classified as a standard customer or a platform technology partner.

Direct Customers & Technology Partners	Standard Wallet Flow	Requires a pre-funded balance. Outbound API messaging requests immediately fail with an HTTP 402 error if the specific project wallet drops to zero.

400	BAD_REQUEST	"Check the request fields. Some required information is missing or invalid."	Validate structural constraints and parameters before retrying.
401	UNAUTHORIZED	"API key is missing or invalid."	Verify that your active environment key is passed correctly in the authorization header.
402	PAYMENT_REQUIRED	"Wallet balance or billing setup is required for this action."	Route the user to the portal billing page to top up their balance.
403	FORBIDDEN	"This API key does not have access to this project."	Check key scope restrictions and project isolation mapping parameters.
404	NOT_FOUND	"The requested project, campaign, template, or message was not found."	Verify that the targeted entity UUID exists and has not been deleted.
409	CONFLICT	"The WhatsApp number is already connected to another WABPO project."	Display the project/account hint from the response payload. Instruct the customer to log into that account or contact system support.
500	SERVER_ERROR	"Something went wrong. Please try again or contact support."	Log the transaction and establish an exponential retry delay.
